Instructions

 

#1. Cut 100lb Neenah 8 ½”x11cardstock in half at 5 ½”. Line the 8 ½” piece of cardstock to the top of your score board & score at 4 ¼” fold on scoreline and burnish you’re your bonefolder (one piece of 8 ½” x 11” cardstock will make 2 card bases)

 

#2. Cut 1 piece 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” black cardstock, add 0.04” foam squares/dots, center and attach to card base.  (Set aside the card base.)

 

#3. Cut 1 piece 80lb Neenah Cardstock to 4” x 5 ¼”

-apply twisted citron distress oxide using a blending bush to the right of cardstock moving colour to the centre of the card (see picture for example) this is to create a shadow effect behind your fox & bunny.
- Cut 1 piece 2 ¼” x 4” pattern plaid paper from the 6”x6” paper pad
- glue this to the bottom of inked cardstock.
- Cut 1 piece 1” x 4” green cardstock
- Center and stamp with embossing ink “Hello Friends” & add lost shadow embossing glaze then use heat tool to set.
- Glue green piece centering on card overlapping the pattern paper. (see picture for placement)

 

Fox Assembly:
#4. Using the Doodle cuts fox dies cut the following colours from cardstock.
Grey- Body
Black- Nose
White- Face, tail, and front paws
Scarf- Pattern paper from the petite prints paper pack.
Small black gems for eyes (or cut from black cardstock)

-Ink the fox body and back paws with a mix of lost shadow & black soot distress oxide.  (to get this effect blot ink pads on glass mat blending together with blending brush this will give you a darker grey)

-Assemble your fox see card for placement of pieces and set aside.

Bunny Assembly:
#5. Using the Doodle cuts bunny dies cut the following colours from cardstock.
White- Face & body
Pink- Nose & ears

Small black gems for eyes (or cut from black cardstock)

-Assemble bunny see card for placement of pieces and set aside.

#6. Add Tree from the puffy sticker package to the right-side of inked card base approximately ½” from the edge making sure the base of tree touched the stamped green cardstock.

#7. Add .04” foam dots/squares to the fox.  Attach the fox having the tip of the tail overlap on puffy sticker tree and making sure the fox paws touch the stamped green cardstock.

#8. Add .04” foam dots/squares to the bunny.  Attach the bunny having the back paws touch the stamped green cardstock.

#9. Grab your A2 card base center & glue your completed project to the black cardstock. 

#10. Decorate with puffy heart & snowflake stickers (see picture for location)

#11. Cut 1 piece of 4 x 5 ¼” 80 lb Neenah cardstock, center and glue on the inside of card base for sentiment.
